What is Gakuran?
Gakuran is an open-world action RPG set in a Japanese high school in May 2007. While it's designed as a slice-of-life experience, the community has turned it into one of the most intense PvP fighting games on Roblox.
Getting Started
1. Create Your Character
When you first join, you'll choose your ethnicity and gender. Ethnicity affects your height range, which directly impacts combat stats. Japanese has a 95% drop rate; all other ethnicities share the remaining 5%.

Join the official Roblox community group for bonus rewards and to be eligible for code redemptions. You also need 5 friends added to redeem some codes.
3. Learn the Controls
The combat system uses keyboard inputs. Master the basics before jumping into PvP.

Combat Basics
Offense
- M1 — Basic attack (punch combo)
- R — Heavy attack (slower but more damage)
- T — Activate fighting style abilities
- B — Execute (finish grounded opponents)
Defense & Movement
- F — Block (hold to guard)
- Q — Dash (dodge attacks)
- Shift — Sprint
- Ctrl — Shift Lock (camera)
Tips for New Players
- ✓Start by practicing in the Gym — fight NPCs to learn combo timing before facing real players.
- ✓Height matters more than you think. Taller = more damage but bigger hitbox. Shorter = faster but less damage. Choose based on your playstyle.
- ✓Save your Rerolls until you understand the combat system. Don't waste them on rerolling ethnicity early.
